Hey All

I'd like to apologize for the rap.  Was meant to be a funny take on an already "dirty" song -  funny since I'm known as the "good boy".
I am, and I am 100 percent against violence of any kind.  I work with many organizations to stop violence and bullying, and will continue to.  It's something I strongly believe in. Very sorry to anyone I've offended.

  6. Funny song in my opinion. Taken too serious by some of the stupi.. 'less aware' jersey shore fans and taken as an excuse by some of the jersey shore haters to make fun of the show.

  11. Kind of a joke... Just look back at the Jersey shore, should of done something there. Feed a starving child, and support legalizing marijuana. Hah.

  12. I thought the song was hilarious, and I also think it was supposed that way. It was taken too seriously. But it's a good thing you apologize for it, so that everyone knows that it was just for fun... let's hope people will know realize it wasn't meant to be serious.
Because really, you're the good guy from YS!
If The Situation would rap it..... ;-)

  17. Dont worry about it bro. Like you said, the original version of the song is already dirty, and you Just felt like having fun with it. Whoever doesnt understand that is not your true fan.

I honestly think you're a good rapper. If you I were you, I would stop caring about what people think, and make the type of songs you want. You can't keep up the " good boy" image if its not really who you are.

I really hope you take your Passion for music to the next level and at least release a mixtape soon for me and everyone else who is a fan of your music. I rap too, so who knows, Maybe we'll be able to make a track together when i get known!

At the end of the day, your true fans will stay by your side and never judge you for who you are. So keep that dope music coming bro.

A milli remix and black& guido are dope too. Hopefully i'll be hearing about your real soon !

    Keep it up!

  24. Its a EFFN shame it took for people to "call you out" for you to realize how messed up that rap was. Regardless of WHY you did it YOU DID. To talk about "raping" a women is beyond acceptable. NOT A GOOD BOY.... dirt ball

    ReplyDelete
  25. Not a big deal. We all do stupid stuff, so I don't see why everyones freaking out.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm glad at least one other person said they were offended, but find it terrifying more people are not. The song is outrageously offensive. Thank goodness its been pulled down.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Glad you apologized -personally I thought it was filthy but I chose not to listen to it..your forgiven

    ReplyDelete
  28. Your little rap is one of the reasons why women are still paid less then men for the same job. Whether the word "rape" was used or not, it still was offensive to women. I always saw you in a different light then the other guys on Jersey Shore because you seemed like more of a classy and respectable guy. Yeah maybe it was fun for you, but you're a very public figure now and you have to realize everything you do will be picked apart, and that some of the things you do show be kept private in order to not offend others.

  29. Vinny I find nothing wrong with what u did, as a matter of fact your a big person for apologizing. there are so many more horrible thing going on in the world then this minor problem...tootles xoxo

  30. I find what you said extremely offensive to women, but isn't most music now? Everyones freaking out because you said "rape" in your rap, and i know people who've been sexually abused, but most songs now are about disrespecting women anyway. It was a stupid mistake. Everyone makes them.

  32. I don't understand why ppl are constantly worrying about what other ppl say and do especially over something like a harmless rap. Everyone should worry about themselves and what they're doing. I think ur a great guy who was just having fun. I wasn't offended by it at all bcuz I didn't take it seriously. Love reading ur tweets and agree with ur #vinnywisdom. Thanks for being u :-)

    ReplyDelete
  33. So let me get this straight, you think it was funny because a "good boy" said it? And you still claim you are 100% against violence? Wow, you really don't get it, do you.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Not cool. But then again when was casually drpping rape into a song ever cool... joke or no joke.

    ReplyDelete
  35. The people who didn't take this song seriously and are defending this bigotry should check themselves. The fact that the word "rape" is now a joke speaks levels of you. You are are an insensitive, stupid, and ignorant.

This is why top 40 crap is not on my playlist. The lack of human love and respect.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Have to agree with those people against what Vinny said... 'Acting like I'm raping it' should NEVER be acceptable in any context. The worst part is Vinny seems a fairly cool guy who obviously made a pretty bad judgement call here. He'll get a slap on the wrist from management and has enough 'good guy' public image left to brush it under the carpet. Shame though, I used to think he was hot.

    ReplyDelete
  37. As long as it was in good fun

  38. Big thing you apologised.
I think you're a smart guy, and need to remember celebrity is no about crossing the line of common limits, but be able to handle the weight of it for everyone else , it's though i know but women are not all represented by rappers. they sing about super hot super paid bitches..get real people. Big thing you apologised. fuck celebrity madness.

  39. People are too sensitiveDecember 1, 2011 at 2:59 AM

To all the chicks freaking out. It was a joke get over it. I mean he didn't say he was raping it anyways and everybody getting uptight over a word. its a freaking word in a song. get over it

  43. i think that it was a little provocative and not right. a lot of ppl do think dat u r da good guy. i really think that it was harmless.

    ReplyDelete
  44. It's good you apologize and I hope you really do believe you made a fault. Because of your mother and family I think and hope you do. Because of your other texts I know you are not stupid and everybody can make faults. I really think it was important you apologized, not like some people here. I hope you were serious because I really think you are a good guy.

  45. To: "people are too sensitive"

First, that's exactly what it said. Second, are we really so callous that we SHOULDN'T be sensitive about RAPE?

    ReplyDelete
  46. OMG.!! Vinny stop I fucking love the song !!!!! you need to make more :)

  47. I hope all of you dumb cunts get raped one day. Come back and tell me how funny it was for you.

  48. I'm a fan and if i'm honest what offends me more than the rap is the some of the comments on here. People, women especially, shouldn't just dismiss something because someone is a nice guy. Also the person that said 'the rape sounded nice because of your voice' I'm not sure you worded that particularly well. I doubt is ever nice. Do I think that the response to your rap was out of proportion? Yes I do. You obviously didn't intend any offense and you probably wouldn't have done if you had realised it would cause all this backlash. I judge the people leaving these comments more. People shouldn't cast of controversy because a nice guy said or because a hot guy said it. Rape is still a taboo word no matter who says it.
