The Realness

I love realness. Not racist; real. Not rude; real. Profanity, humor, bluntness,  right in your fucking face. It is so correct to be politically incorrect. The best people are the ones who tell it how it is without giving a shit what other people think about them. We only censor ourselves because we don't want others to think we are the racist, sexist, biased, douche bags that maliciously hurt others. I want to laugh and not judge, say it and not censor it. If someone makes fun of my race, I want to make fun of their race right back and then take a shot of Jack Daniels with them. I want everyone to make fun of each other starting with themselves without getting upset. The phrase is make "fun" not make "sad." I love when Italian people call themselves pasta meatball eating guinees, when Irish people say that they drink too much, when Chinese people say they can't drive, when black people say that they're scared of water, when gay people say "no homo", when Jewish people call themselves cheap, when celebrities go out and get wasted without caring, when porn stars tweet about sex, or when brown people say "I'm Indian...dots, not feathers!" If you're  poor say  "I'm broke as a muhfucka!" and if you're rich say "I'm rich bitch!" If you can't get laid say "I have no game." If you get it in every night say "I get mad ass." If you smoke weed say "I'm high as shit right now." If you don't smoke weed say "I never did and never will mess with that shit." There is no correct answer as long as you keep it one hundred. If you offend someone with your comments, you are talking to the wrong person. Real recognizes real and will understand the difference between a joke and a jab. The most attractive quality in a person is assertiveness. They are assertive because they are telling the truth with no secrets or games. Do you like this blog? If I gave a shit, it would contradict my whole point. If you don't like it, feel free to tell me. I won't be upset you didn't like it. I would be upset if you didn't keep it REAL.

  4. Vinny, I'm impressed with your ability to articulate and expand upon a very seemingly simple thought. You bring it down to earth and make it relatable to the masses.

Keep up the writing- I like your style.

  8. Couldnt agree more! I have a nasty habit of speaking my mind whether ppl want to hear it or not, I used to "play nice with the little ppl" but have learned that it doesnt accomplish anything. My filter has been removed and I have no intention of ever putting it back on :)

  12. Some of it makes sense, other parts are just plain retarded. Unfortunately, you and your friends amuse me too much for me to ignore what any of you say. Some of you I like more than others. You used to be my favorite, but then you turned into a man-whore so you're kind of in the middle right now.

I find the whole reality TV thing amusing. People become reality "stars" then they think the rest of the world does or SHOULD give a shit about what they have to say. It bugs me most of the time, but since I have this sick relationship with Jersey Shore, I let it slide.

Keep being real, Mr. G and don't get sucked in to the glitz and glamour. In the end, when the lights go out, you don't want to look like some asshole desperately trying to cling to fame. Be smart, find a niche, invest, make bank and when the lights do go out, you're not looking like a dick. (Sorry, I'm in my late 30s - yeah, late 30s and hooked on your damn show - so I'm giving you a grown-ups perspective.) And for the love of Christ, will someone please bitch-slap Mike already? ;-)

  17. Haha yessss I love it.

Never did sugar coat things myself. Can't say it didn't get me in trouble either. Still does. I don't care. You don't care. We all don't care!

I'm always asked my opinion because I won't lie to please other people. If it looks great ill say it. If you look like shit ill say it. Why not? I'd wanna be told the truth.

I'm blond, so that must mean I'm dumb.

Sometimes. Can't say I've always said or done bright things.

Gotta laugh at yourself..its the key to true happiness :)

  20. Some are just quiet, I'm not, I believe that there are things that need to be said and people won't say them. This world isn't about living in silence, if you're not okay with something, then say so.

  21. TRUTH!! I believe if you don't wanna hear it why'd you ask. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. Some people have no problem dishing but can't take it. I love a good shit talking and fun making. I can deal and take tit. Your just a bad ass Vinny

  23. In an idealistic world, people would have read this and would have had an 'OMG' moment. As in, 'oh my god, he's right'. If people were able to see the line between making 'fun' and making 'sad' then Issues such as bullying wouldn't be such an epidemic. I'm sure you (Vinny) have a wide range of fans of all ages and I'm sure we all perceived this is a different way. I am a 19 year old, single mom from a small town where nothing really happens but everything negative gets magnified. Personally, I've never been one to joke around with others simply because I've always been focussed on my studies, but in the library, behind my anthropology book, I often hear people 'joking' with one another. I for one can easily spot the line (mentioned above^) but apparenty others cannot. A joke will be said, the group will laugh, and that target will too, but then will often get quite and look off to side while pondering on what to do/say next, they they'll plot on who they can replace themselvs with (as in being the NEW target). Its quite sad how this vicious cycle works. Anyways, my point is that if people within the age
bracket of 16-21 reads this, I hope that they actually take something from it and learn to be real. Because, being real doesn't mean being 'mean' and if we(a society) can change or prevent this now, then maybe just maybe, we can start seeing the 'real' in everyone :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. haha I couldnt of said better! everyone always says I am this way. That If someone asked me if their outfit looked like shit, I would tell them but I'd try to help them fix it. I never open mouth intending to hurt someone, I just keep it real. I get it from my Grandma and I have to say I love that damn woman. If you cannot be true to yourself then you cant be true to others and furthermore if you cant laugh at yourself then your not living.... Great blog, have an amazing day:)

  32. Vinny, I would have to say that you are a very smart person! It is very refreshing knowing that you are using your fame to express truth to all your fans. It is not every day that you find some with your status out there trying to make change, usually the only change they are trying to make is in their bank account. When other celebs are trying to do events to help others its usually for them to be even more exposed. I truly believe that you actually want to MAKE CHANGE!! Keep doing everything you are doing and I guarentee that you will be the one JS cast member that makes it to the top!!Your amazing!!! Have a fist pumpin weekend Vin =) and I REALLLLLLY think you need to give SNOOKS a chance because she is REAL!!!

I got game, and I'm broke as faack!! But I'm keepin' it real err day. I know ur keepin' it real too Vinny, you sexy Italian!!

  36. Im surprised. Your person on the show to me seems like a cheeky sex hungry man. But reading your blogs you are without a doubt smart and fucking articulate. I went through life always saying sorry and hoping not to tread on toes, then I got depression, got over it and thought ; you know what to hell with this ima be who I am, a loud croatian girl with opinions and jokes no more hiding. Would I be star struck if I met you? Hell yes but once the buzz died it warming to know a decent convo could follow. You now have another fan.. Me krystal . Btw im logged in as my partners lol

  37. well said Vinny. I keep it real everyday for the most part. I do have to pc my self due to little whiny bitches who can't grow the fuck up and acft like an adult. I am almost 29 and keeping it real is what I am all about. But let me ask a question sir. Do you like your women to speak up and defend themselves or do you prefer the ladies to be ladies and NEEED their man to defend them. i come across this dilemma all the time. Being a smart ass bitch guys loves the fact that i can talk shit with the best of them but when it comes down too it, I am too strong, too intimidating, or just out right too bitchy for men. I think I need to relocate to the east coast to find me a Guido who can take my assertiveness with a grain of salt! Who can take my punches like a man! What are your thoughts?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I have ALWAYS gotten in trouble for my sense of humor. It's been such a strain on my personally and professionally, because I rely on my personality to get where I want to be in life. I am usually the jokester, the clown, always making people laugh...but I'm always getting in trouble because I'm usually offending someone. I can't help it! I make fun of everybody equally! Some people get my sense of humor and think I'm hilarious, but some people take themselves so fucking seriously and don't get me at all. If I have to tip toe around you and bullshit my way through, then I don't want to be a part of it! UGH!! Annoying. I gotchu Vinny. -Erin

  39. Sometimes it is wise to keep your mouth shut and not say anything at all.
There is great power in silence, too. And you know that is REAL!

Wearing your heart on your sleeve can lead to missed opportunities….
Wearing your dirty laundry on your sleeve will lead to a nasty and superficial existence.

When keeping it real, consider leaving something to the imagination. Give people a tidbit to intrigue them, but don't ruin the surprise.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I dunno. It's fine to joke around and stuff but I find people who who call themselves "bitches" etc like this and I don't think of it as a good thing. Usually they are just mean girls (I'm a girl so this is my experience) who claim they "tell it like it is". Usually no one really likes them because they are so rude and mean, the only people who do like them are the ones they decide to be nice to. Thats what I've observed, anyway.
Also, not everyone can take the "heat" from the kitchen so they stay out of it. Then some "real" person comes along and pushes them in the kitchen and it's very uncomfortable. I believe in "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all" . I'm sad that has disappeared.

    ReplyDelete
  41. this is about the realest shit ive heared in a minute...keep it one hundred and stay ten toes tall and life will work itself out. but whats more important than keepin it 100 with everyone else is keepin it 100 with yourself...you got to look in yourself and make sure ur doing u and not what makes other people like you. i always just remember that everything happens for a reason and if u r stuck on some stupid shit then ur not livin. but keep it comin Vinny...u are talkin some true shit.

  42. I <3 this... and I'm gona be real, I am a pasta meatball eating guinea... and I love it. Big fan ;)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Very true. And you know most people will probably agree to this and say "Oh Im always real" but the fact of the matter is, is that most people really aren't anything more than lying assholes that are just putting up a "front". Oh the misery that lies within people. Oh and btw, loved the post about the intoxicated broad on the 22nd. Hilarious!

  44. feeling this Vin..unfortunately we are the minority in that far too many people can't handle the truth..regardless I refuse to change or conform..and as much as I can dish it out, I can not only take it, but I welcome it..Just to be clear, there is a huge difference between being honest or real and being rude or disresectful..at least by my own standards..I think far too many people these day take everything (things, other people, themselves) WAY too serious..

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hey Vinny, I’d like to start by saying that I really enjoy reading your blog because of your open-minded beliefs and the reality of your words. In this specific blog post, you are completely correct. I believe that learning from your mistakes requires the willingness to suffer injury to your own self-esteem (and to accept it then learn from it). Anyways, I am attracted to the person I wait all week to see every Thursday on TV not just because you are good-looking, but in watching your show, I’ve learned that you are also funny, thoughtful, intelligent, bighearted, witty, honest, charming, respectful, and more importantly, you stay true to who you are. Apparently, your rise to reality star fame has not caused you to forget or ignore where you came from and I admire you for that. It is relatively easy for me to agree with almost everything you say because my morals and values are similar to yours. I was also raised Catholic but have the same view on religion as you do. I think it would be really cool to sit and chat with you because I find you out of the ordinary (in a good way) and feel that we have things in common. Most of your roommates (excluding a few) appear to have an interesting yet commendable character and it must be soooo nice to have the type of friends who surround and support you while having a blast at the same time! It just seems like that sort of thing & amazing people don’t exist in the real world because they’re so difficult to find. It’s tough when all you want is to have true friends and they’re nowhere to be found... It would be a DREAM for me to meet the Jersey Shore cast and make friends with all of you! Vinny, help make my dream come true by coming to Orlando Florida & I’ll take you to Cocoa Beach & show you a good time ;) Thank you for blogging & introducing a different side of you. Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s people like you, Jenni, and Pauly who inspire people like me to be more like you. Love Always, Danielle Cattanach from Orlando =]

  46. Love the show love you!!! I always say that people should say what they want and stop apologizing for everything. I hate when public figures apologize for things they say. You said it you meant it don't be sorry!! We all know it's how you really feel. So don't pretend that you didn't mean what you said just because it upset people. You can FEEL sorry for the people who misinterpret you or don't like what you have to say. But you should never BE sorry about expressing how you truly feel!

    ReplyDelete
  47. The more we're given that platform to speak the truth, the more people confuse fact with opinion. I of course, am a fan of Jersey Shore and am seeing an evolutionary movement in television and the real world, where life immitates art. This movement reminds me of the movie "Idiocracy" and how 500 years down the line, everyone will speak like idiots, and our modern style of conversing, in the future, will be considered "talking like a fag and our shit will be all retarded".

    ReplyDelete
  48. I seriously 100% LOVE this. This could have be taken right out of my mouth. This made me smile so big, sometimes i feel as though being outspoken and blunt as i am gets no respect and this made me proud that there are people out there who respect, real :) <3

  50. I'll openly admit, I fucking keeps it real. You have no idea, someone angers me I tell em, "Shut the fuck up before you get smacked the fuck up." I always telln people the realest I can be. Cause I hate fake people, if you act real, other will act real? Get me? Damn dude, this shit is a good read.

I'm be famous one day, hopefully soon cause, "I'm broke as fuck." I need some of them greens to help my family out. I keeps it real, family before myself, and my future before my present. I swear dude, I'mma be big one day. And I'm keep'n it real. I only get one life, Imma do something worth remembering.

    Yeaaaaahhhh boiiiii.

Am I the only guy who commented this? Shit I like to read, I aint ashamed of it. I keeps it real!

  52. keepin it real, the only way to be. word.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Dude, its called not having a filter & u wouldnt believe the shit u get for being that way. Well, thats not really true. I think its harder to be that way as a chick. What u just described is how I live. Brutally HONEST is how I like to describe it. The tricky part is being a chick (@ 32 I should be a lady, but b/c of my size, chick fits) my personality is mistaken for being a bitch. There isnt really anything that I wont say. I am loud, I curse, & I have something to say about almost anything. I am also very educated, so my head is full of useless info (I rock trivia pursuit). Anyway, as of late, I have been "expressing" myself more than usual. Read my blog?? My husband (who is the male version of me) tells me often that I have to tone it down, or think before I speak. I tell him, I always think before I speak. This issue is, cause I have a vagina, I am not supposed to say things things I say the way I say them?? Again, double standard. Its the guinee upbringing.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I love this, everything u said is so true!!! I wish people would stop being so fake or two-faced and realize how much better it is to honest.

    You're my favvvv vinnyyy... can i get a twitter shout-out?! @MAGGIEMOOS21

  61. Wow, I really like that. Starting this blog was a great idea. A lot of people think the jersey shore cast is a bunch of dummies who just party and get drunk every night but I know that's not true. You are very smart, because if you weren't you wouldn't even take the time to think about those things you talk about in your blog. Keep writing, I'll keep reading as long as it is 100% from your heart. :)

  65. I am not convinced that this is so simple. cool idea, everyone speaks to everyone directly, but it is more complicated. Not everyone will react the same way. Everyone is different and has different sensitivity not everyone can laugh at themselves. It looks like you wanted to be Socrates, and create the "ideal state" but it is only possible in your head. The beautiful is that something starts to happen in our heads but it requires many years to be able to put it into practice. I wish you success in creating a harmonious world. Regards Agnes

  68. Well dude, you are very philosophic and I like that... And if we're keeping it real ^^ I would suggest you change the background of your blog. I know you like girls, but it's not really consistent with the content of your blog. Just a suggestion though, it's like a professional deformation, cause I study Communication Multimedia Design.

  69. Well at least now I think everyone can tell you have a brain inside your head... along with being gorgeous. I like the way you think too, I tell people like it is all the time, which normally pisses people off, but WHO CARES. Anyways, nice blog Vinny.

The only negative is when people say they're "being real" as an excuse to be obnoxious and rude lol

  76. Very VERY well said.. keep it real!!!... ReplyDelete
  96. I kind of agree. I agree with the part that you gave acknowledge and accept the truth. I don't agree that a person has any right to make fun or insult a person based on race/appearance/intellect based on persons perception of truth and what's right and wrong. There's a certain line that we shouldn't cross. Anyhow, everybody's entitled to their opinion and i enjoy reading yours :)

Speaking about keeping it real I'm sure he doesn't give a fuck what background you think he should have. Hence the fact that this is his blog. I'm gonna jump on the band wagon and say you should enable some sort of like button to filter through the bs comments.

  104. Vinny i love you! For the simple reason i totally agree with you i think people take life a tad too seriously. I'm Irish nd its a fact we can drink , could drink you under the table my friend :-) then again you can drink legally in Ireland at 18 but we usually start bout 15(shhh dont tell the garda/police). Im in college nd we usually go out tuesday, wednesday and thursday then out at home friday and saturday. But we're not all like this we just get that sterotype nd we dont give a fuck to be honest. We go out have the craic(fun in Irish)whats so bad bout that. Unfortunately my assertivness tends to get me in trouble, i dont mind i prefer to tell it how it is. I cant be fake it's not me. Delighted someone finally said it and said it well, Cheers! :-) O and ur a LEGEND!!From Ireland!

  107. People who do not keep it real, or in other words are fake, that just means they have something to hide. Either theyre hiding insecurities or theyre afraid to speak their minds. If you cant be honest with a person, dont speak. Lying and puting on a show only makes for bigger and worse disasters in every which way. I have always spoken the truth. I dont care who you are, wh#re youre from, or what you do in your spare time, but if it was to affect me in any way, ill do something. If I make a joke to someone and they dont know how to take it then clearly they shouldnt be near me cause I do have a habbit of making jokes. I will always speak my mind and some call me a bitch for it but oh well. So I agree 100%. If you cant be real then dont bother at all.

  112. Amen! All of my friendships that have lasted are ones with people who are on the same level as me. We don't sugarcoat shit to each other, we tell each other like it is and yeah its caused a few spats but at the end of the day we love each other for it. I wouldn't be a true friend if I didn't tell my friends how it is. We hardly ever have drama and I can count on them through thick and thin.

On another note, I think I hate bulls*@*ers just as much as I love people who keep it real. That deserves a blog post of its own ;)

I agree 100%. Gotta keep it real, fake gets you nowhere, and it's boring. I lovvvve being funny, I lovvve jokes, making people laugh, getting in with the crowd (sounds bad, but it depends how you take it continued>>) and just joking with everyone have a good time. Life is too damn short to be soooo serious. If you can't handle the heat then get outta kitchen, right? Orrrr if you can't roll with the big dogs, get off the porch... :) I am a very up front, fun, sarcastic person. So yes, be real, be blunt, put it out there! Don't feel ashamed, you are who you are, OWN IT! :)

  116. Well, this being the first time I have read your blog, find it absolutely hilarious you have two chicks on the back of your screen. Without reading your name I could have thought you were Lesbian lol. ;)
Absolutely love this blog, and you are absolutely right. I've always been one to state the obvious and be completely real, if someone doesnt like it they can tune it the fuck out or walk away.

soooo my little real comment is, I have weird ass dreams and your sometimes in them lol.(god, that soudns stalkerish but i promise its not lol) we were dating in the last one. And Im fucking broke and its a damn joke!

:) thanks for being real babayyy.

  117. Unfortunately sometimes being "real" means being real ignorant. I agree that being assertive and not taking yourself too seriously are good qualities. I don't have much respect for people who are fake, pretentious or non-opinionated. But I also don't have much respect for people who make stupid stereotypical comments just because they think that is truth. Have fun, but not at the expense of others. Respect is real. Congrats on your success, happy to see you are creating dialogue with your blog.

  118. It's like you put into words what I've been feeling this past week. Love it. Thank you.

  120. Agreed! If more people thought, felt and acted accordingly this world would be so much more FUN!!!! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  121. I think this just might be what I should tell the Dr. next time I go... Some people just don't understand what it is or to feel like themselves, therefore they fake the funk and are not cute, amusing, nor true to themselves nor anyone else. If he really wrote this I would like to meet someone like him... (Don't really see many people on TV) One Motto I will always stick by, "Believe nothing you hear and half of what you see. . ."

    ReplyDelete
  122. haha, the blog is quite good, if only many people havn't told that before. xD but what I realy hate in all this is that all these morons that just puts they head in your ass with these comments, like seriosly. that looks so pathetic. but they think that just interests you, but thats even not true. I believe you even don't read all these commentares.

    ReplyDelete
  123. It's about damn time! Thank you for these words, I needed to borrow them today to once and for all explain how I feel. I am so sick of people swearing they want the "whole truth" not sugar coated, then whining when I let them have the "whole truth". Thank you for your realness, now let's see how many REAL people we know.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I fucking love the realness of this! I'm rich bitch, is probably the funniest things I've heard in a long time, I can just hear Dave Chappelle, saying it! Thanks for sharing.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Keeping it real is the only way to be you can only be who you born to be and not care what anyone else thinks and if they only have bad things to say fuck what they have to say if people dont like you for who you are whats the point in trying to be someone your not ?

Vinny lets hope now that you are famous you don't loose sight of this and hopefully you will keep it real no matter what the glitzy celeb life brings

  126. I totally agree with what Cristina said... about some of it being true, and some of it just plain retarded. but mostly i agree with her that you've turned into a man-whore. you used to be my favorite too, heck, the only one i really liked. but i'm even liking ronnie a lot more now 'cause no matter how fucked up he is, he can actually stick with one girl. still, i love that you're not trying to be something you're not. except that one time you got a spray tan. lmfao. that's so not you. not real at all, man. idk why you're still good in my book, though. maybe it's your cute little gut that shows sometimes, and makes you stand out from the rest of the guys on roids. shows how you keep it real. and i think that's way sexy. no wonder snooki's hung up on you. damn, i'd wanna cuddle with you too! errday. you're fucking hot!

    Fuck censorship.

My Dad is like the Archie Bunker of Bay Ridge. LMAO. I grew up with all that shit, and he always told it like it was to people's faces.

Do you even read these comments?
    Just curious.

  132. I believe too many of us fear the opinions of others demonstrating insecurity. Insecurity is as damaging as fear, the two together create hate. It's when we are able to see beyond our own fears and insecurities that we can appreciate the fears and insecurities of others, eliminating hate altogether. Eliminate hate and we all learn to be REAL. beautiful blog Vin

  133. Being "real" can quickly turn into being a "real" asshole. Remember that racial slurs and homophobic terms have been used for ages to degrade, humiliate and hurt people.
I'm often too honest and frank with people and not always proud of it. Occasionally, I've hurt friends and family with careless words. Be wary of being too "real" as you call it. Because others may not be "real" enough to tell you you've offended them or hurt them till it's too late.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Nothing should be censored. We practically live in a world today where people are trying to tell us what is right and wrong and I don't agree with it. Be yourself and say what you feel. I totally agree with you on this one Vinny!

  138. Hello Vinny,
I just wanted to say that I think your writing is dynamic. Through reality television, media and just plan asshole options, you and the rest of the cast from Jersey Shore are perceived as "fake". Although I have not met any of you myself, it is nice to read your thoughts and know that behind the "Fist-pumping and GTL" there is a mature mind with insight and intellect within you. Now I am never one to judge and I am a big fan of your show, but one cannot help reading and listening to the gossip that is set before us everyday. But I'd like you to know (not that you actually care) that I look forward to reading your blogs whenever I can.
Thanks for being real! You're awesome!

    Sincerely a "REAL" fan :)
    -Samantha

  141. This post made me feel good...no, GREAT. I live in Italy (I'm American) and I live a constant culture clash. I'm a typical American female in the sense that I say what's on my mind. If you want to come over and it's a bad time, I'll tell you. If you're a close talker with bad breath, I'll let you know and offer a piece of gum. My husband (Italian born and raised) thinks I'm too open with what's on my mind but I feel that I owe it to people to be honest. I tell him that I'd rather have people hate me for who I am than like me for who I'm not. So, I've got few friends and my closest ones are the two other Americans that live in the area. Italians dance around a subject just to avoid actually voicing, well, anything! It's a MAZE of words and intentions that you're left wondering, "What the FUCK!" It's just the way they speak, it's simply how it is here. Have you read an Italian newspaper article? You can read 3 paragraphs in and still be wondering, "ok now, what's this thing about??" I'm fairly certain I would find this kind of problem in any other country I went to. Every culture has it's niceties, rules of communication...I guess that's the issue. I don't want rules. I don't want them from others when they're speaking to me (fuck man, ESPECIALLY if I'm killing you with dragon-breath!) and I don't want to offer them as part of the package that is ME. Damn, is there a word limit on this....

  142. i just read the US magazine, in which Vinny speaks of the "25 things you do not know about me"...i must say, i was intrigued. i believe he might be the love of my life. beyond his partying, drinking, "smooshing", or whatever, he is a great character. He has qualities that many people do not posses. despite the fact that he stars in a reality show, he is DTE, "down to earth", LOL. bad joke, anyways, the point here is that, i very much appreciate what he is, and this blog page?...wow! who would have thought he had such humble thoughts and a kind heart. i hope to meet him one day. i hope he at least, read this. blessings. <3

  143. respect is more important in society than being 'real'..especially in this day n age.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Hmm.. how I ventured onto this webpage I have no idea considering of what I think of Jersery Shore has done to the North American societal image and how many steps back feminism has taken due to this exorbitant 'reality' tv show. With that said, I humbly admit to my callus and ignorant judgment towards the characteristics and overall sense of vapidness of the people on this show. I neglected to realize they are real people with real lives and talents beyond this show. I agree and relate to much said in this blog and have been given a much needed reminder to the good old cliche "never judge a book by its cover". For that Vinny, and for your crass and much enjoyed opinion on societies long lasting affinity with the niceties of being fake and agreeable, I thank youu!
